Food/Work: Persimmon at James Beard House

As an extension of my Food/Work project, I’ve recently begun volunteering at The James Beard House, photographing in the kitchen at some of the regular dinners hosted by up and coming restaurants from around the country.

My first shoot was in February, when Chef Champe Speidel brought his team from Persimmon in Rhode Island to put together one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time.
